44 Squadron’s Memorial at RAF Waddington - an Update!

The Squadron’s granite memorial, located within Waddington’s Memorial Garden, is in need of renovation. In addition to overall cleaning, the inscriptions ought to be re-painted and the Squadron Crest has deteriorated badly. A quote for the required work of £602.40 has been received from E Gill & Sons (Memorials) Ltd.

UPDATE: Thanks to the generous donations made by our association members, the full amount for the work has now been raised, hopefully work on the memorial will start soon!
